Alide Hire and First Point support Charity with Cycle to the Colosseum challenge! Two local organisations demonstrate their ability to be kind in aiding Rome trip.

Those that know the Charity well, will be aware that we’re always looking to build relationships with other like-minded organisations. These organisations must share a similar ethos to us in advocating for social change and demonstrating the ability to be kind. We often feel that such organisations are hard to discover though - frustrating, right? It is why we were so delighted to discover both Alide Hire Services and First Point, who were keen to get involved and exemplify their intention to create social change through kindness by supporting our upcoming Cycle to the Colosseum challenge. Now, a bit of honesty here, Alide Hire have been long-term supporters of ours and have previously facilitated fundraisers and supporting other sporting events of ours. Alide Hire are an independent Tool, Plant, Powered Access and Welfare hire company, experienced providing quality hire equipment to the public and private sectors on a day-to-day basis. But by extension are regularly aiming to help the local community and our imminent cycle to Rome is the latest example of that, as they have paid for the cyclists personalised jerseys that will be worn across the cycle.

First Point are a new relationship that we have recently formed. First Point are a business courier service, that make every delivery simple, seamless, and stress-free – no matter the size of the item or the distance to send it. Which is certainly true in their help for us, as they have kindly offered to courier the 35 bicycles of our cyclists across to Florence, plus all their additional equipment. This has not only significantly helped us in organising the trip, but eased any concerns from our cyclists regarding the safety of their bikes and accessing their equipment.

The evident kindness from the two organisations has led us to pay their kindness forward by featuring their respective logos on our cycling jerseys for the challenge. We would like to thank both Alide Hire for their continued kindness and First Point in demonstrating theirs for one of our biggest sporting challenges to date.
