Kindness Festival a roaring success!
Kindness Festival a roaring success! First of its kind event a great success, spreading free kindness amongst the local community.
Founded upon kindness, we’re always keen to provide the local community with opportunities they may not otherwise access. This is why in true Sporting Family Change style we decided to create a ‘Kindness Festival’ - an evolution from our previously held Charity football match. The Kindness Festival invited like-minded vendors and individuals to help us spread kindness locally, providing free experiences - enabling access for everyone. We were therefore delighted to be joined in our mission by many kind organisations, which included A&M Delights, Dare 2 Become, Graffix, Hair of the Dog, JW Scents, Nomads BBQ, and Really Awesome Coffee to name a few! Consequently, the day was a roaring success as we were able to facilitate not only our open-access charity football match, which is now an annual tradition, but provide holistic involvement for the wider family and community. Those in attendance were able to enjoy free face painting, graphic design workshops, ice bath experiences, listen to a rock band tribute act and support local food startups.
We’d like to once more thank all those that decided to join us in the unconditional kindness, from vendors to child attendees. The day was not only a great success, but a reminder to us all in the power of unconditional kindness and the far reaching impact its simplicity can have.
