Charity announces Kindness Festival this summer!
At Sporting Family Change, we’re all about kindness and consistently attempting to showcase how powerful it can be. This summer, we’re hosting a unique, never-before-seen festival named the Festival of Kindness, hosted at Bath Recreation Ground, taking place on Saturday 27th June, and it is completely FREE to attend! The festival will feature: family fun runs, our annual charity football match, live music, kids' activities, food and drink, and more! Join us for a day that's fun for all the family!
Some important timings for the day:
11 am - Festival of Kindness opens, woo!
12 pm - 1-mile fun run (Sign up here)
1 pm - 5km fun run (Sign up here)
2:30 pm - Charity football match
3:30 pm - Live music from local band Hair of the Dog!!
8:45 pm - Night Glow starts
9:30 pm - Time to go home!

Is the event really free?
Yes! The Festival of Kindness is a completely free-to-attend event.
What is the address for the event?
Our Festival of Kindness is taking place at the Bath Recreation Ground, Pulteney Mews, Bath, BA2 4DS
Is there parking at the event?
There is no parking at the event site at all. We recommend using public transport or one of the city's Park and Ride locations. If driving in, please use close by car parks. More information can be found here.
Do I need to pre-book to attend?
No, booking is not required - just rock up and enjoy! We do have a maximum capacity on site, so once this is reached, it will become one-in-one out.
Are there toilets on site?
Yes, toilets will be available at the event.
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on the Bath Recreation Ground.
Is there food and drink available to purchase at the event?
Yes, there will be food and drinks available to purchase on site.
Can I bring my own picnic?
Yes, you are very welcome to bring your own picnic with you to the event. There will be some picnic benches, but feel free to bring a blanket or chairs along with you.
Do I need to book my place on the fun runs?
Yes, booking is essential as there is a limited number of spaces. Please book your spot on either our 1-mile run or our 5k run here. NEED TO ADD LINKS
Are the fun runs fancy dress?
Fancy dress is not compulsory but is encouraged! You may even get a prize for being the best dressed!
