Charity’s founder to receive an MBE from His Majesty!

Our Charity’s founder James Deane, more commonly known as ‘Jimmy’, has been included in the New Years Honours list!

We’re beyond proud that our founder, and current Managing Director, Jimmy been included in the New Years Honours list and will receive an MBE for his services to Sport and Fitness in Bath and North East Somerset. Jimmy’s lifelong commitment to showcase how transformational sport and kindness can be within society has now been acknowledged by the King himself. Reacting to the news, Jimmy commented “It’s a bit of a weird thing. I hear people speak about imposter syndrome and I guess that is how I feel at the moment. It’s a wonderful thing. It is as much for Lynda as it is for me. She has been instrumental really in giving me the tools, the opportunity and the years to live out my dream. I’ve been overwhelmed by the number of phone calls, messages and connections over the last 48 hours and the spread of kindness on the news of my MBE. Thank you to each and everyone of you and I hope 2026 brings kindness, joy and good health to you all. Big love.”
